Responsibility

• primarily, to assist the Warehouse Manager with the day to day running of our site in Peterborough
• good communication skills with suppliers and others via telephone and email are a key part of this role
• to assist customers at the Trade Counter

• to cover Delivery Drivers as and when required
• to be a Keyholder of the warehouse and ensure security of the premises when required
• duties will include the planning of routes, preparation of despatch notes, and general running of the warehouse. Loading and unloading lorries, putting stock away and picking orders to go onto our own vans
• to cover the Warehouse Manager in their absence which will include the maintaining of appropriate stock levels using our ERP database, this will involve communication with colleagues at all levels, from Drivers to Company Directors
