- maintaining and supporting existing systems which have been created in-house or require developer level support to rectify issues
- developing new functionality as agreed through ‘Requests for Change’ or as part of larger projects
- developing appropriate interfaces to other related solutions
- developing code, which is accessible, robust, flexible, efficient and secure
- the closing date for applications is Friday the 24th of March 2023
- maintaining a comprehensive documentation library of the system to agreed standards
- in conjunction with users, arranging testing of the functionality of the system to achieve user acceptance
- reporting progress of the work packages to the Head of IT and, where relevant, Project Managers
Requirements
- experience in development using tools such a Visual Studio
- experience in development using languages such as C#, VB.Net, .Net Core, ASP.Net, Entity Framework, MVC, SQL, Angular
- experience in developing solutions against Microsoft SQL server
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- strong MS office skills and attention to detail
- A mind-set for continuous improvement
- must be a team player but also work well on own initiative
