care coordinator
Responsibility
- provide a high standard quality of care to those in our care
- participate in covering service users if required and also take turns with the on call service
- conduct annual performance appraisals for all team members
- take a lead role in developing and delivering an appropriate induction programme for new staff
- to ensure all safeguarding matters, risk assessments and all records are kept up to date
- motivate the staff team to drive and improve service delivery
- participate in rotational on-call system as assigned
- manage the team rota, monitoring the team absence and informing manager
Requirements
- will have at least One years' experience working within a similar background
- will be experienced in guiding and supporting the staff team
- will have full driving licence and own vehicle
- professional Qualification/NVQ Level 3
- experience within domiciliary care environments is essential
- you will need to be a people person, with the ability to work with people from different walks of life, having a positive mind-set and compassion are essential for this role
- providing care: 1 year
- this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The care coordinator may be asked to carry out other activities as specified by their manager and the directors
