Responsibility

  • lead and supervise our production team, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards
  • coordinate production schedules, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely delivery of customer orders
  • effectively manage and mentor team members, promoting a positive work culture and providing support for professional growth
  • monitor and optimize production processes to enhance output and minimize downtime
  • collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflows and meet customer demands
  • uphold health and safety standards, fostering a safe work environment for all team members
  • oversee training programs for new employees and skill development initiatives for existing team members
  • address any production-related issues promptly, implementing effective resolutions and preventive measures

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing, steelwork, or metal fabrication setting
  • strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best
  • excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate production activities effectively
  • flexibility to work alternating day and night shifts, including overtime as needed
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment
  • experience in galvanizing or powder coating is desirable but not essential
