- use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- complete necessary repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring the highest quality workmanship
- provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles

Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
