Responsibility
- ensure customers receive top-tier technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our globally installed equipment
- identify training needs within the service team and create tailored training programs to enhance their skills
- provide technical guidance and support to the team when required
- take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution
- coordinate scheduled maintenance activities, emergency repairs and equipment installations
- continuously assess and improve service processes, procedures and best practices
- play a key role in growing revenue and margin from spare parts and service contracts
- ensure the service department's administrative processes are efficient and accurate
Requirements
- A strong engineering background with at least 2 years of Service Management experience
- proven experience within a capital equipment or relevant engineering business
- strong leadership and team management skills
- exceptional technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- strong problem-solving skills
