Responsibility
- routine maintenance of horticultural machinery and ATVs
- diagnostics and repair of different types of horticultural equipment and machinery
- visiting customer premises and conducting repairs on equipment
- providing technical advice to future and existing clients
- assembling new equipment ready for sale
- collecting and delivering customer's machinery
Requirements
- experience in horticultural equipment maintenance, or some form of mechanical background/qualification
- ability to work on 2-stroke and 4-stroke petrol and diesel engines
- A full, clean drivers’ licence
- awareness of industry health and safety standards
- excellent customer service skills, both face to face and over the telephone
- knowledge of garden and small agricultural machinery, ranging from domestic machinery to commercial, including ride on tractors, quad bikes, strimmers, chainsaws etc
