Responsibility
- plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for preschool-aged children
- create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children to explore and grow
- provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs and abilities
- implement systems of observation and record keeping so that the children's attainment and progress is effectively and regularly assessed
- directing staff in their duties and supervising the programme of activities in line with the weekly plan
- ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children and staff in the classroom
- implement the Nursery's policies and procedures
- liaise closely with parents/carers , informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about the children's progress and promoting parental involvement within the group
Requirements
- previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- familiarity with age-appropriate curriculum and teaching methods
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
- nursery: 2 years
- nursery experience: 1 year
- childcare: 1 year
