Responsibility
- you will be accountable to the Headteacher/ Deputy Headteacher and in the absence of Head/
- deputy, the Senior Leadership Team
- to create an orderly, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment which ensures our children are able to reach their maximum potential
Show more +11 - to encourage and support the development of each individual child, through high expectations and with careful planning and preparation
- to ensure awareness of the key priorities for school development each term/year
- be sensitive to the needs of individual children and to seek advice, when necessary, to ensure that differing needs are met
- to ensure that the agreed curricular targets are integral to the teaching approaches and methods used and displayed so that children are able to access them
- to keep an ongoing record of this development, to include examples of work, pupil tracking information and to ensure that professional responsibility is taken for the keeping of pupil progress information for the purpose of internal and external monitoring
- to provide appropriate interventions for identified groups within your classroom and record these
- at lunchtime all pupils are supervised by the Senior Supervisor and ten supervisory assistants supported by SLT where appropriate
- participate in performance management systems and processes and review current practice by providing evidence when required

- to take responsibility for the initial identification of children with special needs and to ensure that IEP’s are up to date and to support their learning, deploying any additional members of staff accordingly for maximum impact
