Responsibility
- ensure all bookings for shipping, barge and rail are made in line with internal processes
- execute full booking details with attention to detail on the specifics of the booking to avoid delays and non-shipment
- track progress of all bookings from beginning to end, ensuring internal planning systems are updated with live information
- effectively communicate, both internally and externally, any changes, delays or disruptions to normal schedules and routings
- continually review service performance and capacity capabilities of approved carriers, highlighting under-performing carriers to your line manager
- grow and develop relationships with suppliers E
- liaise closely and positively with other members of the Operations Team regarding equipment resource, intermodal services, and depot services
