Responsibility
- manage the residential home to the highest of standards and ensure the smooth running of the home
- operate, run and manage a 3 occupancy in line with organisational policies and Ofsted inspectorates
- take overall responsibility for all staff, delegating effectively and appropriately
- ensure all policies and procedures in relation to children, staff and others are implemented
- check and monitor all staff records in relation to daily tasks, housekeeping and health and hygiene
- ensure all staff adhere to and work within the policies and procedures established in the organisation and the home
- ensure preparation for internal and external audit and inspection purposes
- carry out all other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the highest standards of care at all times
Requirements
- level 5 Leadership and Management in Children & Young People is essential
- driver - Essential
- valid Enhanced DBS record
- experience as a registered manager
- previous Ofsted experience is essential
- level 5 Leadership and Management qualification is Essential or working towards
- level 5 Leadership and Management qualification is Essential
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
