Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Responsibility
- to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
- to ensure the equipment and facilities of the nursery are used to the best capacity
- to ensure the free-flow play from indoors to outside is maintained
- to effectively lead and manage the staff team including providing day to day guidance, training and supporting all staff
- to ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
- to keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
- to implement effective parent partnerships
- to work closely with the school to meet the needs of local families
Requirements
- although holding a degree or EYPS/EYTS would be beneficial, a Minimum of NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 is mandatory
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding
- knowledge of OFSTED standards
- excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- strong administrative and computer skills
- good time management skills
- excellent communication skills
- strong people management skills
