Responsibility
- building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
- building and regularly updating a master media database
- writing press releases and pitches on behalf of clients
- drafting opinion pieces, founder Q&As and award entries
- ensuring all communication is aligned to the client’s brand and TOV
- providing innovative and creative ideas to clients
- running a responsive PR newsroom for your clients, managing all relevant media enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- analysing PR coverage and providing written reports
Requirements
- minimum 2-5 years of PR experience, blending corporate and consumer
- proven media relations experience and a great contact network
- quick learner, adaptable and pragmatic thinker, while being tenacious, results driven and resilient
- industry knowledge and contacts are highly beneficial
- excellent people and verbal communication skills
- excellent copywriting skills
- good data analysis and reporting skills
- agency experience is preferred
