• delivering an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager
• assisting with and occasionally leading team meetings and training as well as providing thorough, high-quality inductions for new staff

• ensuring the member journey is delivered by all team members to the Branston Golf and Country Club standard – including the usage of the Technogym My Wellness platform
• providing Duty Manager cover and support the other departments of the club wherever required
• supporting and mentoring Personal Trainers, helping them to maximize their opportunities to develop their business within the club
• overseeing the Gym Team to ensure there is a proactive approach to not only member engagement, but also cleanliness, maintenance and general health and safety standards within the gym/poolside area – ensuring all daily checks in these areas are completed
• delivering high standard classes, as well as observing, providing feedback and mentoring other team members and freelance instructors to deliver outstanding classes themselves
• assisting the Gym Manager in the collation of class/induction statistics and working together to develop strategies to improve class usage and induction/program uptake

• cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
• cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
• maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators

• washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
• removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
• cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
• supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items
• providing assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as required
