Responsibility

  • we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work in our warehouse and trade counter in Bradford
  • A good knowledge of this type of product is desirable
  • good numeracy and literacy are very important
  • we may also require you to make deliveries in a van or car or do stock checks at a customer's location
  • A driving licence is therefore required
  • the successful candidate will be friendly and outgoing, have good time keeping, be willing to learn, be comfortable working with computers, have a full driving licence and able to communicate effectively face to face with customers
  • you must be comfortable climbing a ladder to around 10 feet / 3 metres from the ground, be able to read small text with or without glasses and able to lift up to 25kg
  • the role will be in our warehouse and external and will involve: picking and packing orders, receiving and booking in deliveries, serving trade customers and the general public with engineer's supplies including fasteners, tools, PPE and janitorial supplies
