- we are 50 staff with £10million turnover, up from £4m 3 years ago. We operate mainly out of a spacious 10,000 sqft office and warehouse off Portman Rd, RG30 1BD
- we're looking for a group FD who knows that the beauty of the numbers is to inform the sales and operations how best to make the company more profitable
- I don't run anything now, I just make suggestions which are usually ignored

- 25 of us are Spirit Solar Ltd - Reading's premier solar panel installer since 2010, saving the planet one photon at a time
- 7 of us are Tulipy Ltd - trading as wovenwood.co.uk, selling specialist fencing, planters and sail shades - in our first year, but we are very experienced in this market having emerged from the embers of primrose.co.uk, which was the UK's largest online garden specialist until I sold it 5 years ago
- 4 of us are Bozedown Ltd - a property development company that owns the building we all work out of; the beautiful Old Hall Works in Shinfield which has just been rented out to Happy Trails Play, an innovative children's nursery; and an old GP Surgery in Caversham that we have nearly finished converting into 6 flats
