Responsibility
- to be responsible for the smooth operation of all areas of food production and delivery
- to lead by example and exhibit a hands on management style
- to ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and service with regard to quality, quantity and safety
- commercial accountability for planning, organising and directing all operations of the kitchen
- maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s expectations
- ensure that the food safety policy is kept up to date and treated as a live document
- menu planning with full costing of individual dishes in line with the expected GP percentage
- determine menu changes after consultation with the Directors
Requirements
- relative experience working in a busy environment
- excellent Management and Leadership Skills

- experience of working in a high volume banqueting environment
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- demonstrate exemplary cooking skills, whilst adhering to brand standards and GP expectations
