Requirements
be very hard working, creative, and have experience of working in a similar position
be able to demonstrate good technical skills, and a good understanding of food handling; food hygiene and health and safety
be passionate about producing good food and excellent service
have the ability to keep calm whilst delivering consistently high-quality food to agreed timescales
have excellent time management skills
have excellent organisational, management and communication skills
HNC or above in Professional Cookery/Culinary Arts would be preferred, but the ability to demonstrate the skills outlined above is just as important
pay attention to detail to ensure consistent, high standards and demonstrate commitment and loyalty
Responsibility
working to support our other chefs on a day-to-day basis when on duty
preparing and cooking high quality food for the restaurant, functions, events and of course hospitality food on match days
helping to carefully monitor food stocks, ensuring good rotation, and minimising waste
helping to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areas
used by the Directors on matchdays, this exclusive room is proving very popular, and is used for business meetings and smaller private parties at other times
