Requirements
- be very hard working, creative, and have experience of working in a similar position
- be able to demonstrate good technical skills, and a good understanding of food handling; food hygiene and health and safety
- be passionate about producing good food and excellent service
- have the ability to keep calm whilst delivering consistently high-quality food to agreed timescales
- have excellent time management skills
- have excellent organisational, management and communication skills
- HNC or above in Professional Cookery/Culinary Arts would be preferred, but the ability to demonstrate the skills outlined above is just as important
- pay attention to detail to ensure consistent, high standards and demonstrate commitment and loyalty
Responsibility
- working to support our other chefs on a day-to-day basis when on duty
- preparing and cooking high quality food for the restaurant, functions, events and of course hospitality food on match days
- helping to carefully monitor food stocks, ensuring good rotation, and minimising waste
- helping to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areas
- used by the Directors on matchdays, this exclusive room is proving very popular, and is used for business meetings and smaller private parties at other times
