Responsibility
- assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice verification, coding, payments, and collections
- managing month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
- handling quarterly VAT returns and assisting with income tax returns
- ensuring finance and tax related processes are continually developed and updated to support continue compliance of the UK business
- supporting the annual budget coordination and preparing year-end accounts
- liaising with external accountants and ensuring all tax obligations are met on time
Requirements
- qualified Accountant
- proven experience as a financial controller
- strong technical expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, tax and financial modelling
- ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in the business
- attention to detail
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- has a commitment to a high work standard and work ethic
