Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- providing quality care and support to a young person with complex care needs
- collaborating with mental health professionals, schools, and other support services to ensure holistic care for the young person
- maintaining accurate and confidential records of interactions and progress
- ensuring that best practice is implemented throughout all areas of the care package
- have a genuine, authentic desire to better the life of the young person
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in health and social care
- experience working with children with mental health challenges
- experience working with children with complex care needs
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, including evidence-based practices and interventions
- having an Enhanced Adults and Children’s DBS on the update service is advantageous
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- must be a driver with business insurance or willing to add
