Responsibility
- develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and enhance operational efficiency
- conduct thorough data mining and analysis to extract actionable insights from large datasets
- utilise SQL for database management and data extraction tasks
- design and implement Data Science models for forecasting of sales, finance etc
- having some knowledge of financial forecasting will be advantageous
- apply natural language processing techniques to analyse unstructured data sources
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
- design experiments and interpret results to guide decision-making processes
Education
- master's
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with Gradate degree or Masters degree in Computer Science/ Data Science or any related field
- proven experience in a Data Scientist role or similar position, demonstrating a strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling
- proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; knowledge of Java is a plus
- experience with big data technologies is advantageous
- familiarity with AWS services related to data storage and processing
- strong skills in VBA for automating tasks and enhancing productivity
- excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly
