Requirements

  • professional IT qualifications or equivalent experience related to the role
  • experience working with Office suite applications
  • an excellent understanding of Windows desktop in a business environment

  • A proven ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software faults
  • empathetic with a positive attitude towards helping others

Education

  • diploma of Higher Education

Responsibility

  • proactively identify and assess potential service risks and their impact on Access. Lead mitigation efforts and escalate critical issues
  • coordinate the tickets that have come into the helpdesk, ensuring they are triaged and if necessary escalated to other staff and/or liaise with third party suppliers where necessary according to internal processes
  • be responsible for the helpdesk function day to day, ensuring the people we support are kept informed and have a positive experience
