Responsibility
oversee day-to-day operations of the ice cream production team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of production goals
help run our small team of up to four others including a production supervisor
work with the production manager to ensure we pass our quality assurance inspection
work with the Production Manager to keep our Batch tracking system up to date at all times
we take immense pride in crafting our delectable ice cream from cow to cone, right here on our farm. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are searching for a dedicated team member to contribute to our success
manage the entire process of raw material handling, including receiving, booking-in, transferring, and storage
ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and premises to meet and exceed industry regulations
maintain accurate labelling of finished goods and packaging in compliance with relevant standards
Requirements
high standards of personal and workplace hygiene, maintaining a clean and organized production environment
thoroughness, accuracy, and strong attention to detail in all aspects of the production process
excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide the production team effectively
resilience and calm demeanour, even in high-pressure situations, ensuring smooth operations at all times
proficiency in operating and controlling production equipment and machinery
adaptability and openness to embrace change, supporting the growth and development of the production facility
physical strength and coordination for handling equipment and materials
knowledge of food manufacturing production and processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
