Payroll, Compliance Administrator and Bookkeeper Watford
Established asbestos removal company is looking for someone with administration experience to work in our Offices in Watford as part of the bookkeeping, accounts and compliance team.This is a full time position. The position will pay between £30k and £35k per annum. This salary is also negotiable depending on experience and any transferable skill sets.Hours of work are either 8am - 4.30pm or 9 am - 5.30 pm.Fast paced environment with very strict timescales and deadlines to work to.Main Responsibilities:PayrollGeneral bookkeeping using Sage accounting packagePosting customer and supplier/subcontractor invoices to ledgerBank reconciliationReconciliation of invoice discountingWorking together with the Directors for profit and loss reports and expense analysisMonthly management of accountsVAT returnsDistributing and chasing outstanding paymentsEnd of year accountsCompany pension returnsAssessing and filing court claimsAssessing dates of compliance and scheduling accordinglyChecking over paperwork from on site staff to collate to invoicesProcurement and stock orderingLiaising with suppliers regarding costs, contracts etcSubcontractor formsEnsuring full compliance with regulations and assistance with compliance teamsDocument controlElements of HR - bookings and onboarding and setting up and verifying new staffEnsuring all compliance, insurance and equipment related documentation is up to dateOccasional assistance with emails and bookings of appointments for sales teamEssential Requirements:Minimum 2 year experience within bookkeeping/accounts/compliance roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsImpeccable attention to detail to all aspects of workAbility to work independent
