Responsibility
acting as the Registered Care Manager for both sites in all aspects of care management
ensuring that any sickness/absence is adequately covered
working with Care Coordinators as required to ensure a smooth changeover is affected where necessary between areas of responsibility
planning, allocating and evaluating the workload of the care/support workers to ensure a safe and effective service delivery. Particular attention should be paid to providing continuity of care/support to individual service users
participate in the recruitment of care workers in line with company policies and guidance and ensuring that all recruitment checks are satisfactorily completed
assisting in collating Carers’ logs, reading and implementing issues identified accordingly
assisting with times sheets, invoicing and accounting as may be directed by the Care Manager
assisting in the recruitment of care workers observing current company procedures and policies
Requirements
you hold at least 5 years consecutive experience managing home care
you are currently a CQC registered care manager or will be able to register swiftly upon starting employment
you hold qualifications in RMA/LMCS or NVQ 3 – 4 with QCF level 5 desirable
fully computer literate with excellent admin and staff management skills
reliable with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
you possess a working knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards & Care Act 2014
adept at managing and directing people in a fast-paced changing environment
experienced within management of high-quality Domiciliary care
