Responsibility

  • supporting the Early Years Educators and Assistant Room Leaders reporting to you
  • coaching, mentoring, and supporting the team with their planning, next steps, and general practice
  • implementing the nursery policies and ensuring these are met/followed at all times
  • planning your room's activities weekly, while updating regularly to meet children's needs as their interests evolve and develop
  • caring for and nurturing your own group of Key Children
  • maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • working in partnership with children's families
  • creating adult-led activities and facilitating child-led activities

Requirements

  • nursery or Preschool: 1 year
  • any type of childcare: 1 year
