Responsibility
the planning and execution of club events, including match days and social functions
agreeing event planning timelines with clients ensuring that the agreed deadline are met
creating event proposals which fit client requirements and budget whilst maintaining a suitable margin for the business
sending and managing quotes, confirmations and invoices to clients and suppliers
booking and coordinating event entertainment, including music, performers, and guest speakers
managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests and directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising suppliers/caterers
attend monthly KRFC General Committee meetings to give report
ensure all statutory requirements and Club policies are met, managed and documented including department Health & Safety
Requirements
the OE Manager will be the primary point of contact for all hospitality booking enquiries, so organisation skills are crucial
effective hands-on management and leadership will ensure facilities are set-up and maintained to the highest standards at all times
additionally, the OE Manager will manage the catering contractor, bar and cleaning teams to maintain a welcoming and efficient environment
A flexible, adaptable mindset is essential, with the capability to seamlessly manage shifting priorities and evolving demands
there may be times where you will be needed to assist in these areas to ensure the success of the venue at all times
