Responsibility

  • support SMEs to develop their business propositions with the aim of getting them business ready for investment and scale-up
  • provide a point of contact for all SME enquiries and relationships
  • support SMEs to develop innovation roadmaps, identifying the key milestones and support them with potential challenges they may have to overcome
  • promote the BCIMO and its work across a wide range of platforms and events
  • build and maintain a good relationship with the wider innovation eco-system e.g., investors, industry partners, financial organisations, Academia, Government bodies etc
  • support the wider business programme through SME development, holding events that support and promote the Clean Futures Accelerator and wider innovation programmes
  • contribute to the design and delivery of new strategic partnerships that lead to organisational growth
  • contribute to the delivery of commercially funded and collaborative research and development projects which focus on engagement with SME communities
