Responsibility
- we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operative for our food and beverage store
- receive and allocate goods to make efficient use of warehouse space and racking
- break down palletized goods as appropriate
- pick and prepare orders, completing associated paperwork correctly
- dispatch orders, including providing instructions to couriers/visiting drivers
- prepare samples for dispatch to customers and suppliers
- maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, including window cleaning and grounds maintenance
- assist with stock checks as required
Requirements
- computer and numerical literacy
- excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- good telephone manner
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- forklift operation qualification is desirable
- ability to work as part of a team
- physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
