Responsibility
- perform workshop and onsite servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial pumps, including centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps
- conduct on-site visits to customers' facilities to diagnose pump-related issues and provide effective solutions
- collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services
- provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding pump operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices
- document all service activities, including inspections, repairs, and recommendations, accurately and in a timely manner
- stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product developments related to pumping systems
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
Requirements
- experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- minimum of 5 years experience in servicing and repairing industrial pumps / rotating equipment
- strong knowledge of pump systems, including pump types, components, and operation principles
- proficiency in diagnosing pump-related issues and implementing effective solutions
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues
- proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- willingness to travel to customer sites as required
- valid driver's licence and clean driving record
