Requirements

• your daily role as our Kitchen Porters will include
• what is the role?
• to ensure that the cleaning schedule is adhered to and standards of Health & Hygiene maintained
• as a Kitchen Porter / Housekeeper within our Dining Team you’ll be integral in the success of our Dining Pot Wash function
• to ensure that all kitchen equipment is thoroughly cleaned and stored in the correct manner so as to minimise breakages
• working alongside the Front of house and Kitchen teams you’ll deliver and maintain high standards across all of our 1000-seater Dining areas
• to ensure that all breakages and spillages are immediately cleaned up to prevent accidents
• whether putting out a large tray of cultery, cleaning our large crockery items or preparing clean kitchen items for our Chef Brigade you will be at the heart of a busy catering team
• to ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly stored
• to ensure the kitchen and wash up areas are clear of dirty crockery at all times and to ensure that all clean items are placed neatly in the appropriate place in the kitchen
• to remove and recycle waste from the kitchen
• contributing to our commitment to providing a safe working environment by following the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements

Requirements

• previous experience in a similar role is desirable
• you'll have the ability to lift and move heavy kitchen crockery items on a repetitive basis
• experience of working in a high-volume Catering environment or similar is desirable
