Responsibility
- to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children 0-11
- to ensure the setting is a safe environment for the children, staff and others
- to develop partnerships with parents, carers and outside agencies
- to provide a safe, caring, educational and stimulating environment, both indoors and outside at all times
- to be a key person to a group of children
- to deliver an appropriate EYFS curriculum which enables children to make individual progress
- to help ensure the setting meets Ofsted requirements at all times
- to work with other professionals for the benefit of children and their families
Requirements
- minimum level 3 relevant qualification in early years
- basic Food Hygiene
- excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and current Ofsted statutory guidance
- paediatric first aid
- practical experience of providing good quality learning opportunities
- designated Safeguarding Lead Training
- empathy and understanding of children under 5
- excellent communication skills with children and parents
