• telephone answering in a polite, efficient and professional manner. Redirecting appropriately if you are unable to answer client queries
• registering clients, making appointments, processing clients on arrival and updating records and clinical data whilst maintaining confidentiality
• advise clients on any preventative health care queries such as flea and worming treatments, neutering, vaccinations, pet travel

• taking payments & adhering to the practice payment protocol
• ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy
• processing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
• diary management – ensuring appointments are booked with the appropriate person for the right amount of time
• our Receptionists are the first point of contact when a client calls or arrives at the practice so we are looking for someone will excellent communication skills and a professional and friendly manner
