Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure
- your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts and repairing appliances
- the ideal candidate must be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems
- due to the high amount of risk associated with this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions
- the goal will be to produce and maintain well functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities
Requirements
- proven experience as an electrician
- experience in the use of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and tools
- ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- general understanding of natural gas, electricity & propane systems
- excellent knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
- good knowledge of industry-specific terms such as AC/DC, switched mode power circuits etc
- high school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of a apprenticeship is a plus
- electrical: 5 years
