Responsibility
- fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including roofs, doors, and windows
- use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete joinery tasks
- ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications
- perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of materials
- collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and painters, to complete projects
- maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- conduct repairs and renovations as necessary on existing structures
Requirements
- IPAF Licence
- level 3 Joinery
- blue CSCS card
- proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential
- proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
- knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is an advantage
- experience with masonry work is desirable but not mandatory
