- educated to Degree level
- risk and Control experience and/or Product management
- relevant AML/CTF or ABC qualifications i.e. ACAMs
- understanding of how the Banking function integrates with the Group to achieve the overall business objectives
- in-depth knowledge of EU regulations in regards to MSB/NBPSPs as well as Financial Crime risks
- relationship management, especially managing and handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families
- demonstrated experience in understanding of control frameworks and communicating updates, improvements, and issues for escalation
- experience in governance and change management
Responsibility
- coordinate activities across the team including completion of controls testing, annual product reviews, annual audits, and procedures under Enterprise Process Taxonomy
- supporting the wider Banking team including Product Management to identify, understand and manage governance and risk in their business and embed a strong governance culture
- assisting with the development, implementation and attestation of the overall controls framework for Banking Products, ensuring controls are operating from a first line of defence perspective in conjunction with the Controls team
- have regular meetings with Relationship Directors across the assigned portfolio of clients, discussing business development opportunities from existing
- collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives
- leading changes to central Financial Crime Standards, Policies and BUK FC TOM to ensure they are fit for purpose for BUK Customer Business
- ensures familiarity and compliance with all Bank policies and processes
- take responsibility for embedding new policies/ procedures adopted due to risk mitigation
