Working hours

Responsibility

  • working with children from 0 to 5 years old
  • planning daily activities both indoors and out to suit the child's age and stage of development
  • keeping play room equipment sterilised and rooms organised and clearly labelled for the children
  • must have good communication skills and confidence when liaising with families and professional agencies
  • planning and tracking children's learning, completing paperwork to a high standard using the correct Early Years terminology
  • working in line with the correct curriculum for child's age
  • good organisation skills and Time management
  • having excellent understanding of current documents such at Early learning in childcare, Realising the ambitions, Setting the table, and the curriculum's

Requirements

  • at least 4 years working experience
  • at least 5 years
  • this is a 32 hour working week over 4 days
  • this is a full time position, our full time hours are 40 hours per week
  • nursery: 4 years
  • SVQ Level 4 or equivalent, would accept level 3 on the grounds your willing to advance to complete a level 4 or BA in Childhood practise
  • SVQ Level 4 or equivalent, would accept level 3 on the grounds your willing to advance to compleate a level 4 or BA in Childhood practise
