Responsibility

  • interpret project plans and specifications to execute masonry work accurately
  • construct and repair brick structures according to specifications
  • construct, repair, and maintain brickwork
  • perform masonry work including laying bricks, blocks, and stones
  • operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
  • collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and welding teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • collaborate with other tradespeople on site to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

  • must hold CSCS Card or PTS
  • proven experience as a Brick Mason
  • proficiency with hand tools, bricklaying techniques, and masonry work
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites
  • proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in construction
  • ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and masonry principles
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibility

  • assisting Skilled trades
  • assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • site preparation and clean up
  • maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations
  • support station refurbishment and platform enhancement projects
  • perform general maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
  • follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • support skilled tradespeople in their duties as required

Requirements

  • knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential

  • MUST have a PTS or CSCS
