Responsibility
- provide staff support, demonstration and instruction of care activities, particularly in relation to the induction and mentoring of new staff
- sellywood House Nursing Home is looking for a Registered Nurse to work on nights with a valid NMC Pin and previous experience of working within a nursing home or working with the elderly
- as a Registered Nurse , you’ll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve
- we’ll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with all residents, families, visitors and colleagues
- you can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do
- maintaining high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care plans, together with appropriate hand-over, to ensure all residents’ needs are continuously met
- responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care
Requirements
- RGN or RMN and registered with the NMC
