Responsibility
- perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards
- inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
- identify and document any defects or issues found during the test
- advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance to pass the MOT test
- use power tools and hand tools to perform inspections and repairs
- maintain accurate records of all tests conducted
Requirements
- valid MOT Tester license
- strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues
- excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear explanations
