Responsibility
- be a valued and key member in a fast paced subcontract business, take responsibility for the quality management of the business
- due to the continued growth of the business we are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to help drive quality improvements within the business. This would be a hybrid role working in both Quality Control and Quality Assurance
- the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the inspection of CNC machined components, Engineering Drawings, Tolerances, Manufacturing Methods and Inspection Techniques such as hand measuring equipment and CMM's
- in addition have an understanding of the management of the QMS in order to support the business with daily operational tasks such as internal audits, managing the NCR and CAR system, calibration, operator training and supporting with external audits
- we appreciate that as this is a dynamic and varied role we may not be able to find the perfect candidate that ticks every box , therefore, we are willing to provide training and support in order to develop your skills in whichever area is required
- we are looking for a Self motivated problem solver who works well in a team and has the desire to push the business forward through innovation and investment
- please note the salary range is a guide for this role, it could be hourly paid or a salaried position we would be happy to discuss with the right candidate
