Responsibility
- set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol, to produce precision parts
- able to work from drawings
- develop and modify CNC programmes using SolidWorks or other CAD software
- interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining
- set up, operate, and program CNC Mills or Lathes with Fanuc controls
- collaborate with engineers to understand project specifications and requirements
- demonstrate proficiency in both offline and online programming, which is highly valued
- utilize grinding, milling, and welding techniques to fabricate components
Requirements
- experience with 5-axis machining is advantageous
- strong mathematical and numerical skills for precise measurements and calculations
- 5 Axis experience would be highly advantageous
- proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities
- basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- familiarity with FANUC controls
- proven experience in similar roles within sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Petrochemical, Aerospace, or Automotive
