Requirements

  • at least 2 years’ experience of managing in a café setting
  • able to demonstrate effective leadership of a team
  • knowledge in Food Preparation and service
  • commercial awareness, knowledge and expertise
  • event hospitality experience
  • barrister trained
  • training/ understanding of Health and safety and food safety
  • knowledge of Stock Management systems

Responsibility

  • complete and review daily and weekly task checklists, cleaning and temperature checks and maintain precise records, reporting equipment or facility issues
  • lead on communications to the café team on Arnos Vale’s, operational updates, daily information, activities, funerals and events
  • create a welcoming environment for our customers, encouraging customer feedback, dealing with complaints in a positive manner
