store Development Manager
line management responsibility of the Merchandising Team, including the day-to-day activities, management, and development of colleague
adoption of standard AWG generated plans and amending within spirit to maximise commercial benefit for retailer
grade 3 Salary Scale + Benefits
our Store Development Manager is integral to the success of AWG and will focus on onboarding of new independent customers into the AWG Group with support also provided to Company Owned refit projects based on workload
work with retailers to maximise their store standards, product availability and services
advise promotional compliance in store and development of own brand product range
project manage remerchandising of new acquisitions and existing site refits within the independent estate of stores as well as Company Owned Stores refits
Requirements
previous experience in a similar role
retail knowledge
convenience sector / sales / product experience
excellent communication and negotiation skills
flexibility and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
full Driving Licence
