Working hours

Responsibility

to ensure all line personnel adhere to food hygiene and health and safety policies and procedures
to be responsible for effective running of all production lines including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader and the Robots
to ensure smooth operation of multiple lines
to perform regular glass inspections to identify and remove any potential contaminants from the production line, ensuring product safety and quality
to collect packaging materials from the Labelroom and return unused materials at the end of each job run
to set up packaging materials and supplies on the production line, ensuring they are readily available for the packing process
to be responsible for effective operation of relevant machines on nominated lines including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader and the Robots
to complete tool changeovers, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure smooth transitions between product runs and minimizing downtime

Requirements

proven pack house production experience
experience in management of workplace health and safety
effective verbal and written communication skills
ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
attention to detail and accuracy
ability to prioritise own and others’ workload
ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
ability to embed and live ASF Values
