nursery manager
Responsibility
- ensuring any staff matters/concerns/conflict are dealt with promptly and fully in line with our policies and procedures
- to deal with parental complaints in a timely manner in accordance with the policies and procedures
- following company and safer recruitment procedures to ensure effective and fair recruitment and where applicable, promotion of employees
- oversee and ensure that 2 year checks, school leaver reports and parents evening reports are being completed in a timely manner on the ILD
- ensure that the nursery meets the required health and safety standards, ratios and conditions of the statutory framework
- identifying and addressing staff training needs and logging this information onto the INM
- to ensure that accurate information is logged daily onto each child’s portfolio. This includes; signing in/out, nappy logs, food, medication, accidents/incidents and sleep records
- manage the efficient upkeep of maintenance/stock of equipment, furnishing and fittings ensuring the nursery environment is safe, hygienic, tidy and well presented at all times
