Requirements
proven experience as a facilities manager or relevant position
well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles to manage budget and stock levels
knowledge of HSE regulations and other environmental regulations
BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field or significant suitable career attained relevant experience to be reasonably viewed in lieu of such

Responsibility
partner with Procurement on vendor selection and performance management
be a central point of contact for internal and external personnel
work with senior management and finance to anticipate and meet future facilities requirements and ongoing control of costs within agreed budgets, with regular analysis and reporting
schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment. Preparing tenders and managing contractors to complete activities
partner with local EHS team to ensure that safety is paramount to all operations carried out within company facilities, promote a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors, and ensure compliance with local laws and codes
managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Inspecting building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations including planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
ensure buildings’ in-scope activities are compliant with external government and company regulations, and assist with energy management reviewing utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
this will include maintaining ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and the team as well as supervising all facilities staff and external contractors
