- we require support workers for one of our paediatric clients who has cerebral palsy
- our client has an acquired brain injury but that hasn't stopped her getting the most out of life
- she loves shopping, singing and dancing, and has a wicked sense of humour

- to promote a healthy and well-balanced diet
- K is also very creative and loves art
- to promote the client’s wellbeing and happiness
- upkeep of the home, assistance with cooking, cleaning
- it is essential candidates are able to organise events and activities
- we are looking for a support worker to to assist with 3 waking night shifts a week
- we are looking for experienced support workers to join our amazing team who exclusively support our client ”K”, who is a female in her mid-thirties
- to provide assistance with all aspects of the client’s ongoing rehabilitation under the supervision of treating doctors and therapists
- he is almost 15 years old, so the right candidate will need to have had experience of working with children and young people and ideally have had experience with children who have complex additional needs
- our client also has a cortical visual impairment and epilepsy, therefore the use of sensory toys and input assist him to understand the world around him
- shifts will include weekdays, weekend days and possibly some night shifts
- to follow the support programme agreed with the case manager, therapists and the client
- there are also some periods of double up each week to allow for activities etc
- our client requires support within his family home in the Formby area of Liverpool . He requires assistance with all elements of personal care, feeding, manual handling and medication
- to assist the client with any domestic chores and promote a clean and healthy environment
- the right candidate should have a good sense of fun and energy and be flexible to adapt to our clients developing needs, someone who is able to come up with new and creative ways to engage our client would be ideal
- A fantastic training package is provided to ensure you are at your best as our client deserves nothing less
- to advise the family, or where appropriate the case manager of any concerns regarding the client’s physical and psychological health
- to encourage our client with his education· To provide assistance with all aspects of the client’s ongoing rehabilitation under the supervision of treating doctors and therapists
- our client has a PEG and a JEJ to administer his medications and feed and full training on the management of this will be provided
- you will be paid for any training that you attend
- the right candidate will need a sense of fun and enjoy being busy and active, if you are a caring, fun, outgoing and reliable person then this might just be the job you're looking for

- to use initiative when unforeseen events occur, and the family / case manager are not directly available to provide guidance
- you must be flexible and have a full driving licence as our client has her own vehicle which you will need to be able to drive
- the role involves you helping K get the most out of her life, this includes assistance with all personal care routines and helping with attending appointments, shopping and working as part of a larger team of support workers and therapy professionals
- to maintain a safe environment for the client, in the home and in all community-based activities
- to attend support worker meetings and training sessions as requested
- during school holidays the shift patterns is 7am - 7pm each day with a waking nights shift form 6pm - 7am each evening
- full time workers are required however, part time hours are available for those interested however there may be more hours available, Rate of pay will be £13 per hour weekdays and £14 per hour weekend days, night shifts will be paid at £85 per weekday sleeping night and £95 per weekend sleeping night
- to make a daily report following each duty regarding the client’s welfare
- to report to the case manager regarding general progress and any incidents that may raise concern
- A full raft of training will be provided and you will need to have a full, clean DBS check in place before starting . You will also need a Full U.K driving licence
- to complete relevant documentation for each shift completed and ensure a thorough handover is given
- to work as an individual responsible to the case manager and to ensure good communication, flexibility, and a consistent approach to care
