- proven experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving and event management
- experience of managing a fundraising team and volunteers
- ability to travel nationally and internationally when required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- flexibility in work hours and at times, location of work, in order to accommodate priorities, events, functions and work activity
- experience/confidence of public speaking
Responsibility
- to carry out fundraising administrative duties
- stay informed about industry best practices, regulations, and trends in fundraising
- develop and maintain relationships with Muslim community institutions, organisations and community groups, including Masjids
