Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- organising equipment required, travelling to the site
- operating a variety of drilling equipment
- taking of soil samples for laboratory analysis
- maintaining all site equipment and machinery to ensure they operates efficiently and safely when required
- keeping records of works undertaken on the site including pre-start drilling rig checks, risk assessments, drilling logs, equipment log and vehicle checks
- any other duties consistent with the job description that may be required from time to time. All other business so as deemed reasonable by the Directors
Requirements
- experience of dynamic probing, DPH/DPSH and Geotool sampling rigs is a distinct advantage
- working with mechanical equipment/ability to trouble shoot and fix mechanical equipment
- fit motivated individual who likes to travel and be outdoors in all weather
- awareness of health and safety practices so as to ensure that all works are completed safely and efficiently
- A reliable and committed team player, with a strong work ethic
- educated to GSCE level
- flexible, proactive and self-motivated with the ability to be self-directed when needed
- A-Levels or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential
