- prepare vehicle for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels, tyres; validating adherence to road standards
- securing load and load security along with checking paperwork for deliveries and collections
- delivers items by following pre-determined route set by Sat-Nav systems. Ability to read OS maps and good geographical knowledge
- face to Face deliveries with customers
- serves customers by understanding, resolving and forwarding complaints in a professional manner
- maintains delivery vehicle, driving records, obtaining receipt acknowledgements, completing driver de-brief forms and other necessary documentation
- updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities
- enhances organisations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Requirements
- ADR certification an advantage
- full UK C Driving licence Sat-Nav knowledge, Document Control, Verbal communication
- manual Handling with regard to loading and unloading
- flexibility, Dependability
